Hello Divas! I'm back again with a MAC review after a long time. It has been quite some time since I bought the shade but did not get around reviewing it. I confess I bought this shade due to its name. Its a soft peachy gold color with shimmer in it. It is in Lustre finish.

It has a really nice pigmentation and looks very pretty even on its own.   It looks quite shimmery but not over the top. It sort off goes on a little patchy on the lids with one sweep. One needs to pack it in to get the proper smooth look. The texture is decent. Presently Im on the fence with this shade and Im sure it can be duped. A nice shade but nothing to go running to add to your collection.

Another site another shopping spree - lol! I had gone to Inglot store to pick up my free gift and decided to pick up some cosmetics as well. But they did not have a nail paint I liked plus they would not let me buy something from the Freedom System without showing them my palette. I have a palette but not from Inglot. So I decided to try out the site to see if I could find the products I wanted.

As some of you would know Major Brands brings a lot of the big names to India. Mango, Alcot, Inglot, etc. all are part of its umbrella. The site is well laid out and easy to navigate. Inglot's page is categorized properly making it easy for you to find the product that you want. What I did not like was that all the cosmetics that you could find in the store are not available on the site. For example, Inglot has a crackle nail paint collection which was not present on the site. The newly launched eyeshadow square trio from the freedom system was also missing. Anyways they have a credit/debit card option of payment along with the COD method.

I did not find the eyeshadow trio that I had seen in the store but did manage to get the nail paint I wanted and picked up a few other things. I picked up a pastel nail paint in 969 (Rs. 490/-), Lip Duo lip gloss in 45 (Rs. 720/-) and an eyeshadow refill pan from the freedom system in 467DS (Double Sparkle) (Rs. 300/- for 1.8 gms). I choose the COD (Cash On Delivery) option. My total came upto Rs. 1510/- with free shipping.

I placed my order on 29th Feb and got a call from them to confirm the order the next day. They shipped my order on the 3rd of March which was a Saturday. I got my order by the 5th of March. Personally I feel that this process took a little too long. I should have received my order by the 3rd. Some of the other sites are really quick in order processing. They did mention that they would call up their stores to confirm if the products I had ordered were in stock. I felt this to be a little weird.

Anyways I got my package and really like the fact that they packed the cosmetics in a small plastic box which was then wrapped in bubble wrap to prevent the glass/plastic for the cosmetics from breaking.

Well I'm not going to say much about the products here. You would have to watch out for upcoming individual reviews for them. So until next time ladies!

Would you purchase from this site again? - Yes. It is the only only place that you can buy Inglot products from apart from the stores in India.

Would you recommend it to your friend? - Yes!

I just had to try this out when I came across it in an International beauty blog. The concept is so unique and I'm always one to try out new things. They have so many different funky designs that are like way out there. The one I bought was a recent launch part of their Giltterati collection which I felt was the most wearable. I paid around $14.95 and $5 for shipping. Received my package in about a months time.

There are 3 appliques in a pack. Behind each are guidelines based on which you can cut to suit your lip size. Your are supposed to shape your lips in an "Ahh" shape and then place one part of the applique to see how much you need to cut it. I had a tough time with this. First set I used I cut the applique lying just on my lip line.

After wetting the backing paper and pressing to my lips for a few seconds, the applique transfers on. Now came the tricky part, the edges of the inner corner of my lips did not lie down flat. Plus the applique came outside my lip line in some areas. Once its stuck and you try to shape/remove the excess the whole thing starts to peel off. I removed it and tried again and this time cut it a size smaller which made it lie just inside my lip line. This time it left certain areas from being covered (argh!). Anyways I applied some lip liner to line my lips and cover some of the missing areas.

Another issue was that I could make out the edges of the applique. Plus I had to stretch my lips slightly to ensure I got the corners and in doing so when I relaxed my lips after application they sat heavily in the lines of my lips. LOL I really did struggle with it. And their tut vid makes it look so easy :p. Anyways I did not have any problem with removing it. I was able to peel it off. I guess that could be cause I didn't have em on for too long. I really like the concept. It just needs some practice to help to get it on right. I just hope they come out with more wearable shades. This was too glittery. I really love the Cheetah print but I guess that is taking the animal print obsession a bit too far! Lol! Until next time ;)

Would you purchase it again? - Maybe if they have more wearable colors.

Would you recommend it to your friend? - Presently, No.

Hello Diva's! I got this shade from O.P.I sometime back. I have been looking for it since awhile as I had heard that this is one of the iconic shades of the brand and was eager to try it out. Dell had partnered with O.P.I and had launched a removable laptop cover in this shade and it was so pretty. The name is so catchy. Since that time I have been looking forward to buy this.

I finally found it on one of the Indian shopping sites (don't remember which). I paid around Rs. 520/- for it. It is a slightly dark red shade with similar color shimmer in it. Personally I feel that it has a blue undertone. When applied it has a really nice sheen to it. I put it about 3 days ago and can see very slight fraying at the tips which is not very noticeable. Due to the pigmentation it has a tendency to stain the nails in reddish color when it is removed (this is an issue that I have noticed with a lot of red and dark shades). It is a pretty color but I personally feel that due to the blue undertone to it I don't really think that it suits my color tone. Reds generally help to impart a bright and fair look to the surrounding skin but I feel that this aspect is lacking in this shade.

Would you purchase it again? - The shade - probably not.

Would you recommend it to your friend? - Maybe. I'm on the fence regarding the shade.

Shikha Says:

Inglot India was holding a free sample giveaway on their Facebook page a little while back. I filled in my requisite details but to be very honest I was not expecting to get anything. I was so surprised when I got the mail from them that I had won a free sample that I did not believe it at first :). I checked out their FB page just to make sure.

I went to the store to redeem my prize and got this eyeshadow trio. They had a 5-6 color choices available in it but apart from that they weren't any options like choosing between a lip product, face product etc. I was expecting something like a sample size but from the looks of it I think it is a full size product. I have not seen it earlier so cant really comment on it plus I forgot to ask them details about the product (doh!). It is M3 Eye Shadow 556 in Pearl finish.

I really like the packing which is a thick plastic container. It contains 3 shades - a dark peach, antique gold and a metallic brown shade which has copper undertones. All 3 shades have amazing pigmentation and have a buttery soft texture. They are very easy to apply and blend. When you take a swatch then they do look like 3 distinct shades however on the lids, you can make out the peach shade if it is seen from an angle. If you look at it straight then it looks the same as the gold one. I love the color combination of these warm shades and feel that these colors will look good on most skin tones.

Many thanks to Inglot India for giving me this chance to try out a really good product. Cheers!
