The Yellow Straw Kolkata
When I was doing my MBA in Poona, it was a part of our evening routine to head on down to the juice center near our hostel and chill with our glasses of juice along with fruit salad after a long hot day. Poona was damn hot during those months and the only thing that bought a semblance of relief was either hiding in the computer room pretending to work on the terminals (even though we had our laptops all the time with us) so that we got to stay in an air-conditioned room for a bit or guzzling down glasses of cold juice to cool ourselves. You get the most awesome fruits in that city and it was the first place where I saw the fig fruit :) Since I came back to Kolkata that little activity has long become a thing of the past as I didn't find a good juice place close to house and out here (at least back then) juice house would have very limited options aka orange, pineapple, apple and grapes.
