Tarte Cosmetics Haul

It has been ages since I went nuts over makeup. I was honestly so over the fact and so tired of the mounds of unused stuff lying around that if I didn't see a new lipstick ever it would have been too soon! But hey a man (or in this case a woman) never strays far from his nature :P Tarte is one of those brands that you get to hear about...though not a lot especially on our Indian scene but whenever it is talked about it is mostly product raves. The only way we can get our hands on it is when we spot in an international Sephora and then you are already so overwhelmed by the all the brands present that you dont end up grabbing all that you wanted (true story - I kick myself for forgetting to get the Sephora favorites kit). So when Tarte finally started shipping to India I had to place an order! They were just so many temptations that I went overboard but dont regret a single bit of it :P So lets take a peek into what I got...

Hey guys! So I recently went a little nuts at Aliexpress and ended up hauling some jewelry! If you guys follow me on Instagram then you know how much I love my statement jewelry.      Hello my pretties! I stumbled on this really cool shopping site called Shoplately which is based in the US. They have this shop in shop concept where you can purchase stuff from a collection of retailers/shop owners. So whether you are a buyer on the look out for something trendy or a seller with some amazing things to put out into the world this is the place for you. They have such an amazing collection and what a range! Jewelry, Hats, Bags, Scarves, Shoes, Clothing and much more....I feel in love with these amazing pair of booties and added it to my cart. Unfortunately I found out that they don't ship outside the US for now :( Aww! I so wanted these super cute booties! And maybe a dozen other things :D I saw some really unique pieces there and decided to make a lust/wish list of it. Hopefully they will start International shipping in the near future and I will be able to get my hands on these....ahh here's to wishful thinking :)

I think we have so far established the fact that I'm an online shopping fanatic! The ease and convenience that it offers is unbeatable. Albeit there is something to be said about the joy of actually browsing the aisles and finding that really unique item. But online shopping puts the world at your feet with endless possibilities. Earlier it was only the international sites which were drawing in customers with their wide range of brands and products. But in recent times our Indian counterparts have caught up in a big way and have brought this experience to the masses. However one niche was being ignored and that was the availability of genuine discount coupons.

Hey my lovely people! Today I have a treat from you for one of my favorite online stores - Born Pretty. Since I recently got bit by the whole nail art bug I find my solace and indulgence in this amazing place. They have every thing under the sun especially for nail art fanatics. I recently hauled a couple of items from them which I will share shortly in another post with you. I love the diversity they offer and carry products like wigs, jewelry, lens, lashes, makeup etc. to just name a few!

Ahh how could I not round up some of my favorite places to shop from online! Found so many good places this year. Books, Makeup, Accessories, Appliance....all needs were catered too. Listing out some of the sites that I like along with the categories I use them for.

Are you yet to shop online? Especially internationally? Do your hands go cold and your heart acquires a strange rhythm just at the mention of it? Have you heard stories about money being stolen or worse identity theft due to some shopping excursion somewhere by some random person? Let me reassure you that all of us have gone through this stage at one point or the other. It is a leap of faith you need to take and yes it does have its risks. But today I would like to pass on some how-to's and some basic ideas which might help you take this leap. After that that world is your oyster and there are just so many avenues that you can explore.

The April box came with the theme of spring. Shedding of the heavy layers of winter and embracing the coming waves of heat. And with it the issues that one faces. From the sun to oily skin and on a lighter note from the shorts to the bright colors. To celebrate this spirit of spring the April box once again had a nice mix of products. I got 4 products in my box this month.

When I first heard about this monthly jewelry box system from Dolon of Pout Pretty I screeched with joy :D. Such a fab idea don't you think? For a certain amount of money you can get 3 pieces of jewelry delivered at your doorstep. So with the workings of Velvette box in my mind I decided to look it up.

So in my attempt to finally catch up with my Velvette box reviews today I bring to you my views on the products that I got in my March box. This was a mixed bag of stuff where I got 6 products actually ranging from health to skincare to makeup. This month was dedicated to the festival of "Holi". Lets take a look at what all was sent.

Hello my divas! Yes yes I know....you can stop rubbing your eyes now....yes I'm really late with this post but like I promised I will only bring you these once I have tested the products out in each box. So even though I'm like really late with I present to you my Feb Velvette box and my 2 bits on it.

I have a confession to make. I don't know how to say this.....but..... I've been bitten by the Korean bug!!! :D From watching Dr. Poison Ivy posting looks from K-Pop vids and then going on the discover my love for SHINEE I must admit I'm entranced. Searching endlessly online to score some Etude House products I came across a big stumbling block. I was not able to find a decent site for these products and the ones I found had ridiculous shipping charges!

I know I'm really late with this post but I was insanely busy during October. Since it is better to be late than never I decided to post this article for the benefit of my readers. October box was a pleasant surprise for me as they sent over a product from Lush. The inclusion of another makeup product had me stoked. So lets just dive into these beauties.

Shikha Says:

Can I just start by saying how much I love these guys...The anticipation is so high waiting for a new box each month and these guys don't disappoint. They promised you luxury and they deliver on all counts. I have signed up for 6 months - I'm so into them. November box contains brands like Kerastase (my personal favorite brand), Clinique and Clarins.

Last week while browsing through my FB wall I came upon this ad for a beauty/birch box. I thought it was for something that would be available abroad as all the birch boxes of India have disappeared from the scene without a trace. But to my surprise the price was listed in INR. As usual I jumped on it. For me Blisscovered left a big gaping hole when it decided to quit its operations after a mere 3 months. Well now enters The Vellvette Box. I just hope that they are around for a while coz this is such a boon for beauty bloggers plus not to mention exciting as one gets to try out new stuff without having to dish out oodles of money.

Hello Divas! Ok I got this haul last year but just didn't get around reviewing it. I will put up the current prices for each item as I don't have the old bill to tell you about it. You can visit this site here.
