Kylie Lip Kit Kourt K Inspired Makeup Look

     Hello my chicas! I finally got my hands on a lip kit by Kylie Jenner...damn getting your hands on one of these right now is almost like entering a battlefield :D Quick fingers and right timing are the key if you too want to land yourself one of these coveted kits. The moment I saw some pictures of Kourt K on Instagram I knew this was the color for me. Imagine me...I bought myself a wine shade! Still cant believe it!!! But the color looks gorgeous on. When I put it on I got a sense of the kind off look I wanted to pair it with. Immediately a very vampy look came to mind coz this color feels like it has been made for all the divas out there. I wanted to try my hand out at a cut crease look but it turns out that it is my nemesis currently :( But I will conquer it soon! So loving the Foil Eyes palette from BH Cosmetics!!!

Sorelle Grapevine Instagram Giveaway

   Hello my lovelies! I did promise you in the last giveaway I held that there would be a slew of giveaways on my social media. Im sorry for the delay but things happened and I kept pushing this back. But now things are in place and Im holding a small giveaway on my Instagram just as a thank you for being there :) I have a few makeup items and something from Etude House which complements the makeup items aka a fixing spray. 

LuxaDerme Bio Cellulose Mask Anti Aging

     Whoa there has been a lot of over the top makeup experiments going on lately...my skin needs a break from all the creativity burst so that it can settle down. I opted to try out the LuxaDerme Bio Cellulose Anti Aging Mask as I can spot some fine lines and wrinkles that were not there a day before :( Sigh! After the lovely results of the foot peeling mask I have high expectations from this. I have tried a bio cellulose mask earlier from a company called Jane Clare and absolutely loved the results of it. The problem with that was the ease of availability and the price point. LuxaDerme is an Indian company but the products are all made in Korea. If you have not used a bio cellulose mask earlier then the basic difference between it and the regular sheet masks is the material it is made of. Cellulose mask have a jelly like texture to them (usually made from coconut jelly) while sheet masks feels more paper/cloth like. 

Dynamite by VIXX (Kpop) Inspired Edgy Makeup Look

     There have been a slew of comebacks back to back this week in the world of Kpop! After History came out with their track, which inspired the last look, this time around its VIXX with their track Dynamite that inspired me to create this edgy graphic look. Comebacks in Kpop world is basically when an artist releases a new album and "comes back" to the music scene. I find that this term is used mainly in the Kpop industry. Anyways that was just a little FYI for you :) So the bright colors and graphic prints present in the video inspired this look. I paired it with the bold lip coz once I created this ombre lip I couldn't ignore it. Usually I would have gone for the pale lips with dramatic eyes thing but I just couldn't bring myself to do it here...

     Hello my doves. I'm so excited as I pen this down...I combined two of my favorite things ie Kpop and dramatic makeup! Well this was sort of inevitable for me coz my love for this genre of music increases day by day. And since I cant dance for the life of me anymore to make dance covers of some of my favorite music videos I landed upon this form of expression :D Recently a boy band called History released a track called Queen which I find absolutely banging! The chorus, the dance moves and the super cute men all decked out in their suits left me in complete awe. And you know what that means...I was obsessed with the song and had it on repeat! While listening to the track it put me in the "mood" and the end result was this look that you see... 

Faces Cosmetics Ultimate Pro Lip Creme Fuschia Sparkler

     Liquid lipsticks have been all over the place! They have literally invaded the beauty market with the matte ones being the most popular format for them. Though I have become a matte convert but at heart I'm still a gloss-liking-girl. But glosses have always been liquidy and thick thus causing them to feather, bleed, transfer...aka longevity has been the biggest issue when it comes to a glossy texture (among other things) hence a big reason why a lot of people dont like them. If only someone would come up with a long lasting easy peezy glossy liquid lipstick...sigh! Oh wait...has someone listened to my prayers already? Lets find out...

Product Empties - March Edition

     Hello chicas! It is one of those times where I gleefully type out a post feeling oh so proud of myself! Usually when I review something it is with a sense of deep guilt at the money I put in it rather than something fruitful like travel. Especially fresh of a trip the guilt is more vivid for me...but right now I'm pleased as a button as I find my "balance" :P Yes I know I will cut my BS...humph! Anyhoo I'm not joking about the satisfaction part. Again a fine mix of products for you from skin to hair care with some makeup and perfume thrown in. Some of these are on my repurchase list heck I have repurchased already and some I dont want to see ever again! So lets take a look shall we...

Sephora Dubai Haul

     I honestly had thought that I would not shop for cosmetics at all when I went to Dubai. Though the call of Sephora was strong I didn't plan on setting foot in there coz I knew I would end up buying things :P But like all inevitable things it had to happen for one reason or the other...and I went in...and I was pulled under... :D Rather I went there twice, once in the Mall of Emirates outlet and then at the Dubai Mall one. The latter was a tad bigger than the former but I passed by all the US brands and headed straight for the Sephora in-house ones coz I really wanted to see what they had...Right now I'm kicking myself for forgetting to check out the Sephora favorite kits :( But anyhoo let's take a quick look at what I got...

     Like most people I feel that the word tasty and healthy dont fit in the same line. Anyone who has ever gone through the motions of following a diet knows how painful the entire process can be. Firstly as a vegetarian my options get cut down next to nothing and then the entire hassle of preparing the food is a major turnoff for me. And then being denied the pleasures of indulging in a dessert when you have a sweet tooth is torturous. Your favorite food starts swirling in your head while you are trying miserably to chew on that lettuce leaf or munch the bland carrot stick. ARGH!!!
