I got a sample of Avene Rich Compensating Cream in my October My Envy Box. I have never heard of this French brand before this and was glad to have gotten this chance to try something out from it. Like I mentioned before that though I have combination skin it has gone very dry with this turn in weather. This one could not have come at a better time otherwise I would have had to store it away coz there is no way I could have tried it in the summers. So let's see how it fared for me.
I got a pack of this Pumpkin Ade Mask Sheet of L&P Cosmetics in my November edition of Glamabox. This type of product has gained a huge popularity in recent times especially coz of its ease of use. Especially these Asian brands have been a huge hit and the sheer variety that they bring in is staggering. I so love their attention to detail and the great packing designs they bring in. My skin has become quite dry in recent times due to the change in weather and I need all the TLC I can get. So let's see how this one fared.
Hello my sweets! Today I will introduce to a new product all the way from Hong Kong called the Jane Clare HydroSpark HA Hydrating Serum. I got 3 sachets of the stuff in my September Glamabox and finally managed to get myself to use something from all the beauty boxes I have been collecting. Before I get into my experience of it let me introduce the brand to you briefly.
I got this cream as a sample when I bought the Double Serum from them recently. This one is meant for Normal to Dry skin and is targeted at people who are in their 30's and want to combat first signs of ageing. Clarins is really well known for its skincare and a lot of celebs swear by it. I remember someone telling me long back that Kareena uses their HydraQuench range and it is a staple for her.
The monsoons are here in full swing. I sooo love this weather. The sound of the rain, smell of the wet soil and the slight chill in the air. How the plants look all washed and vibrant green. So beautiful! It has its fair share of problems too but as long as I don't have to wade through icky water I absolutely adore this weather. To the topic, I introduced this brand to you sometime back called Maa Disha (click name to read that post). Their product line is mainly focused on hair fall and thinning hair issues. For me this sounded like heaven sent since I have been dealing with this issue for sometime and am yet to find the "magic pill".

Today I will present to you my experience with a brightening cream from a company called Thalgo. This is one of those companies which I have kind of heard about but not really. You know when you might have come across a name in passing but not really know about it per say. I got this as a PR sample and as always I was totally game to try out a new brand.
Today I'm going to feature another product that I got from The Body Needs shop (click on name to go to site - if you want to know what this shop is all about then read this article HERE). This time it is the MAC Cleanse Off Oil. You know, we all know about MAC for their awesome makeup but so few of us dare to tread and explore their other available products. There is this stigma attached in our heads that it is sooo expensive and what is the point in spending so much on so-so products when XYZ can do the job for me. Well let us all stand corrected - MAC is MAC for a reason. FYI they even do perfumes unfortunately which I have not spotted out here. And I think those are just LE's.

I think one of the most enjoyable thing for a makeup enthusiast apart from collecting the smorgasbord of makeup is to collect all kinds of makeup brushes. Whether I know what it does or doesn't hey so and so talked about and now I need one too (sounds familiar). And once we have our sizable collection in hand and feel all warm and fuzzy inside after we have tried each and every one of them. What joy!! But what is this.....tried each and everyone.....that means now I have to......clean them ALL???!!!! ARGH!!! Someone kill me....kill me now!
Hello! Back with another review for the Sample Corner. I will be presenting another mask sheet from the Korean company called 3W Clinic. Like I mentioned before I got this as a sample when I placed an order at Cosmetic Love site for some Korean products. I'm going to breeze through this review too and do it in point wise fashion. If you want a more detailed read of a similar product then do check out my review on the Coenzyme mask from the same brand HERE. Let get started shall we....
Hey there! Bringing you another sample today and this one is a mask sheet. These have become quite popular these days and even spas use them in their facials. A convenient way to apply a mask as there is no mixing or applying required. Just pop the pack and spread the sheet on...easy peasy. I got this as a sample when I ordered from Cosmetic Love. This is from a Korean company called 3W Clinic. I have not heard of it before.
Hello ladies! Welcome to the first post of the new feature - Sample Corner. Today I will present to you the sample for Alqvimia Eternal Youth Maximum Recovery Face Cream. As you know, I came across this brand (check out detailed post on it HERE) in the beauty exhibition I visited (check the detailed coverage HERE) and the lady present there gave me this sample to try out from their line. The quantity is quite less ie it is only 3ml and it lasted me for 5 applications on my face only. Lets break down some basics first.

Shikha Says:
Welcome to a new feature on the blog - the Sample Corner. Now as a beauty blogger I have to always be on a look out to try and talk about new products in the market. The companies just keep flooding the market with their stuff ever so often and with the way prices are soaring these days running a blog has become a very expensive deal. Especially when you don't earn anything out of it :P I keep my regular job just so I can add fuel to this obsession of mine. I'm sure a lot of you must be nodding your heads on that.
