Hello beautiful people! So the rains are finally here giving a small relief from the blistering heat. Phew! But like they say from the fire into the frying pan (its reversed I know) so now the makeup will get washed off due to acid rain rather than sweat :p. Ugh! I was caught last week in a deluge with my mom outside South City Mall here in Kolkata and wouldn't you know it I had non-waterproof mascara on (water proof hurts my eyes)! Not pretty! But when you are caught in torrential rain with an arm load of packets and not getting a ride I guess it becomes a moot point (at least I wish :D).
These are the iconic shades of this range and probably the best known and most used. I felt sort of silly reviewing them. So I decided to club em together and just put my two bits in.
Let me just start of by saying that I'm so not a matte person. I dont go for this finish in shadows or lippies. Not my cup of tea. I find it either chalky in the case of shadows or drying and unforgiving in the case of lippies. Till date there have been very few matte products that I liked (ok 2 that I can think of - MAC Viva Glam Lipstick and Coastal Scents eyeshadow).
I was highly impressed by some of my past makeup purchases from Body Shop. They were definite winners. I bought this product at a discount off one of the Indian shopping sites. I was quite keen to try it out. This one however fell short of my expectations :(.

Did anyone catch the NYX Face Awards? The competition was just so awesome! The talent that was portrayed was astonishing. So many creative ideas. And NYX was more than generous in the amount of freebies it gave out to each contestant in every round. Some products were really great and I caught the bug to go and explore this brand some more. I bought a couple of items off Blanc 2 Noir.
