Picture this...you get your nails done at the salon...you enjoy a good 45 minutes of pampering where you are rubbed, scrubbed and pack(ed). Then the attendant paints your nails in a sparkling shade. You with me till now? Ok I'm not one of those chicks who gets the multiple layer thing done...base, 2 coats of nail paint and top coat routine. Simple reason...I feel that the more layers you put on the faster the paint ends up chipping. Two coats of the paint and I'm good to go. Have you noticed that the polish tends to look shinier for some reason. And its not like that they are putting something special on. Even if I have the same one back home but somehow the one I got done from the parlor shines brighter and lasts longer for some reason. Does it happen with you too? Or am I only one to feel this way???
