Fire by BTS (Kpop) Inspired Creative Look

     Ok I don't think I need to point out the fact how obsessed I am with BTS aka Bangtan Boys. I have literally shouted it from the rooftops (and then some) my love for this mega talented group who in an extremely short and almost unheard of time have literally ruled the world. Ok I wont get started on them coz lord knows I wont stop. They recently dropped this super hot track called "Fire" which literally blew the charts up all around the world. Since I have been so inspired by this genre of music recently how was it possible for me to not do a look based off them. I really wanted to capture the flames and hence came up with this creative makeup look which was really difficult for me to come up with aka something to do justice to what I had in mind...though it didn't turn out exactly as I had wanted it to but I still am happy enough with the result to share it with you...

Kylie Lip Kit Kourt K Inspired Makeup Look

     Hello my chicas! I finally got my hands on a lip kit by Kylie Jenner...damn getting your hands on one of these right now is almost like entering a battlefield :D Quick fingers and right timing are the key if you too want to land yourself one of these coveted kits. The moment I saw some pictures of Kourt K on Instagram I knew this was the color for me. Imagine me...I bought myself a wine shade! Still cant believe it!!! But the color looks gorgeous on. When I put it on I got a sense of the kind off look I wanted to pair it with. Immediately a very vampy look came to mind coz this color feels like it has been made for all the divas out there. I wanted to try my hand out at a cut crease look but it turns out that it is my nemesis currently :( But I will conquer it soon! So loving the Foil Eyes palette from BH Cosmetics!!!

Dynamite by VIXX (Kpop) Inspired Edgy Makeup Look

     There have been a slew of comebacks back to back this week in the world of Kpop! After History came out with their track, which inspired the last look, this time around its VIXX with their track Dynamite that inspired me to create this edgy graphic look. Comebacks in Kpop world is basically when an artist releases a new album and "comes back" to the music scene. I find that this term is used mainly in the Kpop industry. Anyways that was just a little FYI for you :) So the bright colors and graphic prints present in the video inspired this look. I paired it with the bold lip coz once I created this ombre lip I couldn't ignore it. Usually I would have gone for the pale lips with dramatic eyes thing but I just couldn't bring myself to do it here...

     Hello my doves. I'm so excited as I pen this down...I combined two of my favorite things ie Kpop and dramatic makeup! Well this was sort of inevitable for me coz my love for this genre of music increases day by day. And since I cant dance for the life of me anymore to make dance covers of some of my favorite music videos I landed upon this form of expression :D Recently a boy band called History released a track called Queen which I find absolutely banging! The chorus, the dance moves and the super cute men all decked out in their suits left me in complete awe. And you know what that means...I was obsessed with the song and had it on repeat! While listening to the track it put me in the "mood" and the end result was this look that you see... 

     When Dolon of Pout Pretty told me about the Twice As Nice campaign and if I wanted to do it with her, I was so stoked! Since the three of us have gotten together (3rd musketeer being Poorna of Presented by P) we have been thinking of doing a project together. But it never pans out :( Well we are such good friends and share so many characteristics and interests between the three of us so it isn't strange that we are partners in crime when it comes to laziness as well :D But jokes apart I was so glad to be doing this collab with D and hopefully we will break our jinx and bring more such posts for you guys in the future.

     This is one of my favorite songs back when I was sixteen! Brings back such wonderful memories - the hopes, the wishes, the butterflies-in-my-stomach, the anticipation, the doubts...the entire naivety and expectations that Valentine's would bring in. Waiting to confess to the one we liked, hearing other people confessing to you and who can forget getting chased by people one had no interest in and being ignored by the ones who had ours. Lol! What a beautiful roller coaster those days were. Though at that time a lot of them felt so embarrassing and end-of-the-world types but I would love to relive them once again any time. The best part would be getting those cards and gifts...remember how they would be hidden in your desk by your "secret admirer" (read the creepy weirdo in the other section :P ). Ah! beautiful memories...
