As some of you may have heard, Vanity No Apologies is holding a Summer Eye Makeup contest. One needs to create a wearable look featuring bright colors. I have decided to give it a shot and explore my creative skills. 

     Ok this one had me stumped from the get go. How will a lip gloss be 4D? I mean what possibly could they do to make it so? I knew I just had to get it to find out. Curiosity and the cat and all that. I chose the Beige Multi-reflets shade. 

     I thought it would be fun to post a leader board for the giveaway. This way it would be easy to judge where you stand and can try to rack up points to move to the next level and closer to a chance at winning. So at present the leaders are:

     What is the one routine or treatment or process (beauty related) that gives you happiness deep down to your bones?  You get a spring in your step and a song in your heart? Makes you feel like THE diva of the day? For me it has to be related to my hair. Any form of pampering from a simple cut to getting it colored or going all the way with a luxurious Kerastase ritual just makes my day. I feel all of 16 again :).

     I loved the color in the swatch on the site and decided to get it. It does look quite pigmented in the pan and looked decent enough when I swatched it but it did not transfer as well on my eye.

     Summers have descended on our heads with a vengeance. It takes quite an effort of will to step out and brave the heat. Given the conditions online shopping comes as a boon. Ah the bliss of shopping from the ease of your own home. There is something to be said for the benefits of having the world at your fingertips.

     I was looking for a bright color in this color tone. And I found this one in the kind of finish I like the most. This is golden orange color in a shimmer finish.

     I bought these off the Major Brands site. Out there they have just given an image of the supposed swatch of the product but yes there is a difference in color between the product and the swatch. What I don't like about their site is that they do not give proper product info plus all the Inglot range is not available. But I digress.

     Hello Ladies! Another day another Hot Pot ;). Coastal Scents defines it as a semi opaque color in a satin finish. In comparison to Elven Blue this has a much smoother texture.

     I bought this from Slassy.com as part of my Bourjois lip products haul. The shade is called Rose Poudre and is part of the So Delicate Lipcream range. Price is Rs. 695/-.

     Another pretty shade from the brand. I really like the pigmentation and texture it offers. The color looks like a metallic blue with a silvery touch to it in the swatch but on the lids it is a shimmery blue color with a metallic sheen to it.

     Hello Chicas! Back with another product from Coastal Scents. Let me just say Im so impressed with the pigmentation that I have seen so far from the brand. Really good.
